Meet the Team!
As ironic as it is, photos of our team are coming soon. Thank you for your patience & understanding!
Anna
founder & business development
Lead photographer
I’m the founder, lead photographer, co-editor, and main client relationship manager behind Studio MikoMi.
I first discovered my love for photography in college, and that passion grew even stronger when my son was born.
I hold a lot of roles in my life! Aside from being a mother, I'm a corporate consultant, virtual assistant, program manager, and a yoga teacher. Juggling these roles has taught me to be present, creative, and adaptable, which are qualities I bring to every project and every client.
While I love shooting in beautiful locations around the Bay Area, what inspires me most are the people I get to meet and collaborate with. Every session is an opportunity to connect, celebrate your story, and create something meaningful together.
Cristine
co-founder & digital artist
Precision Editor
I'm your digital artist & detailed photo editor. I'll make sure that your photos are edited to your vision and expectations.
I’m an IT professional with an educational background in Graphic Design & Digital Media—so I like to think I bring a creative twist to all things tech.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me drawing, getting lost in a good Dungeons & Dragons campaign, or being lovingly bossed around by my five cats.

Arjay
asst. photographer
supporting editor
I'll be your second shooter, co-editor, and digital asset manager. I'll be ready to capture unforgettable candid moments and unique perspectives all while being the quality assurance lead for your photos & galleries.
By day, I'm an AV Technician, going up a ladder or going under a desk, but my real life is a mix of passions.
I'm a full-time parent to five sweet but demanding cats and a part-time student of photography and model building. My downtime is powered by my love for NBA basketball, Formula 1, Taylor Swift, and Star Wars.

Fernando
asst. photographer
I'll be another second shooter in the case Arjay isn't able to accompany Anna. I'm more technical in nature and I'll be there to capture more formal and controlled portraits.
I'm a Project Manager in the construction industry by trade, a father, and a hockey fanatic. I also enjoy collecting trading cards!
I'm quiet, but observant and have keen sense for the details.
Overall, I'm here to support the team with whatever they need and in turn support you, to make sure we have you covered these special moments.
The Formation of Studio MikoMi
Studio MikoMi was born from a deeply personal place in my life. The name is a blend of my childhood nickname (Mikee) and my son’s (Miko), because he’s truly at the heart of everything I do. When I created the name, I wanted something that reflected our bond.
It was only after Studio MikoMi came to life that I discovered “mikomi” in Japanese means “hope” or “possibility.” That serendipitous meaning resonated with me, especially as I navigate the challenges of balancing motherhood, womanhood, and independence. Studio MikoMi became my positive outlet, a space to channel my energy into creativity, connection, and growth, both for myself and for others.
Right now, Studio MikoMi isn’t a physical studio, at least not yet. Instead, we bring our services to you, wherever your story unfolds: on location, outdoors, or in your home. Our goal is to make every session feel accessible, comfortable, and personal, no matter the setting.
I invited my sister, Cristine, to join me as my business partner because she has an incredible eye for detail, is a creative spirit, and a has passion for serving our communities with empathy and skill. Together, we are committed to using our talents to help others feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
Now, Studio MikoMi stands for more than just a blend of names. It is a symbol of hope, new beginnings, and the endless possibilities that come from blending passion with purpose. Through photography, we hope to help others see the beauty and potential in their own stories, just as we are learning to see it in ours.
With all the love,
Anna
